In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
The event is called TEDxYouth@KL, where x = independently organized TED event where it is also apart of the globally-participated TEDxYouthDay.
At TEDxYouth@KL event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
DATE : 19 November 2011 (Saturday)
VENUE : Microsoft Auditorium, Level 29, Tower 2, Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur
TIME : 9.00am – 3.00pm (Lunch served)
Duration: From 10.00AM till estimated end of time of 3.00PM (Malaysian Time – GMT+8)
Seats: TEDxYouth@KL will host a maximum of 270 guest and access to the conference is by invitation only upon discretion of the organizers.
Speakers: TEDxYouth@KL will feature 8 speakers, internationally and locally based.
Exhibitions: There will be booths of products or information of certain sponsors in exhibition spaces allocated just around the proximity of the speaker’s hall.
Meals: Lunch provided towards the end of TEDxYouth@KL.
